About me
Laura coogan
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I graduated with a Master of Psychology degree at the University of Buenos Aires (1986).
Since then, I have completed additional training and courses for psychotherapists. I have lectured at the University level and have delivered many presentations and workshops in different countries to diverse audiences

During my almost 40 years of experience as a psychotherapist, vocation and curiosity have given meaning to my studies and the development of new and better tools for the treatment of my patients.
What I have seen in common, even among the diversity of cases studied, is that individuals with "secure" early attachment tend to adapt better to situations of change, whether they are experienced as positive or negative.
Early attachment, ideally, is a relational construction between a nurturing and a dependent being. Failures in this primary construction leave sequelae that make the individual little resilient even when they can develop widely as a "functioning" being.
Today, with the advancement of communications on the Internet and the therapeutic experience applied to new technologies, online sessions are highly productive.
If you think that online sessions are suitable for your situation, you can consult me.
After contacting us via email, I offer you half an hour of free consultation (online) so you can feel if I am the right person to help you. I will give myself the same opportunity to find out if I am the right therapist for you. Then we agree on the frequency of the sessions and we will talk about the payment method.
